Watch: People at bar owned by Coco Gauff’s dad had awesome reaction to win
Coco Gauff is quickly becoming the biggest story in sports, and that is saying a lot considering we are still waiting to see which team Kawhi Leonard is going to sign with.
Gauff, who is 15 years old, made headlines at Wimbledon when she defeated her childhood idol Venus Williams (and wore a funny shirt afterword) in the first round. She has since proven that was no fluke, as she defeated Polona Hercog, 3-6, 7-6, 7-5, in the third round on Friday. A lot of people were excited watching her performance, but none more than the crew that gathered at her dad’s bar in Florida.
Corey Gauff, Coco’s father, owns a bar in Delray Beach. A collection of friends and family were there to watch Friday’s match, and their enthusiasm was awesome to see.

Again, Gauff is just 15. She’s now the youngest player to advance to the fourth round at Wimbledon since 1991.
Coco’s next singles match is on Monday against world No. 6-ranked Simona Halep. She suddenly has an entire country and beyond pulling for her at Wimbledon.
