Nick Kyrgios won his Rogers Cup match against Stan Wawrinka on Wednesday night when Wawrinka pulled out with an injury while trailing during the third set. As a result, Kyrgiois had another match on Thursday.
And the fans let him hear it.
When Kyrgios walked onto the court for his match against John Isner, those in attendance booed him loudly. As many of you know, Kyrgios crossed the line during his match against Wawrinka when he made a nasty comment about the woman Wawrinka is supposedly dating.
Kyrgios was fined by the ATP on Thursday and later issued an apology, but fans are not going to accept it that quickly. It will be quite some time before the 20-year-old is given the benefit of the doubt again.
