Stan Wawrinka got ridiculous question from US Open reporter
Stan Wawrinka beat Juan Martin del Potro on Wednesday to advance to the US Open semifinals for the second straight year. After Stan the Man got done with the four-set win, it was time to face the media.
One question he received — the first actually — stood out more than the others. And not for a good reason.
Rather than focus on Wawrinka’s quest to win a third major — which would be a pretty incredible accomplishment — the reporter was fixated with Wawrinka not being as good as say Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, who are among the game’s greatest players ever.

Yeah, that’s exactly the time, place and setting to get into a legacy and motivation question like that — right after a guy won a late-night match to advance to the semis of the US Open.
Incidentally, Wawrinka expressed concern over how he would play in the semis after being up so late to defeat del Potro, but at least he got his Friday off to a good start:
