Brendan Dassey at WrestleMania – fans making demands
Fans of Netflix program “Making a Murderer” are going nuts on the ‘net Friday after hearing the news that the murder conviction for Brendan Dassey was overturned by a federal judge.
Dassey was imprisoned after being convicted along with his uncle of homicide in the death of a photographer in 2005. Dassey later claimed he was coerced into making a confession — and the whole case/seeming frame job by police was covered in the documentary.
Those who watched noted that Dassey, who was 17 when he was convicted, lamented that he would miss the next month’s WrestleMania. At the time, it was WrestleMania 22.
Fans made note of Dassey’s fondness for wrestling when learning of the conviction being overturned and immediately implored the WWE to act.
