Ric Flair accuses former agent of stealing money from him

Ric Flair

Ric Flair is alive and well after his latest health scare, and the pro wrestling legend is looking to expose a former agent who he says stole money from him.

In the third installment of a series of YouTube videos he posted this week, Flair went off on his former talent agent Melinda Morris Zanoni for allegedly stealing money from him. The Nature Boy dedicated the video to anyone “who’s ever been screwed over by a lawyer.”

“Let’s just start with the fact that she stole money from me,” Flair said, as transcribed by Douglas Charles of Bro Bible. “She actually embezzled money from me — it’s documented, I’ve got the records, and I’ve talked to an attorney prior to making this video.”

Flair said he has known Zanoni for 20 years and she was his agent for 10. When he was placed in a medically induced coma after his intestine ruptured in August 2017, Flair says Zanoni thought he was going to die and “grabbed all the money (she) could run with.”

“What is the wrong with you? Did you really think that at some point in time that wouldn’t catch up with you?” Flair said in the video. “This is so overdue. Melinda, I don’t know how you live with yourself. Twenty years friendship, 10 years my agent. Not a text, you didn’t drive down to the hospital. You just didn’t give a s—.”

Flair also challenged Zanoni to sue him for going public.

After his fiancee said it was a “miracle” he recovered from extensive surgery nearly two years ago, Flair was once again rushed to the hospital recently and had to undergo an emergency procedure. The 70-year-old, who opened up a while back about the issues years of alcohol abuse has caused, appears to be doing as well as can be expected.
