Bryce Harper and girlfriend Kayla Varner getting married in January
Bryce Harper will have a busy and happy offseason with girlfriend Kayla Varner.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the two are getting married in January in Southern California. Harper and Varner will be married Jan. 2 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will have a traditional wedding the following day, per the Review-Journal.
Harper was fitted for his tuxedo on Monday and is going flashy for his threads, as you could imagine. The Review-Journal says the groom and groomsmen will wear brilliant Navy sharkskin Bespoke tuxedos with Cognac colored leather shoes.
Harper and Varner have been together for four years and grew up in Las Vegas, though they went to different high schools. Varner was a star soccer player in high school and plays soccer at Ohio State after transferring from BYU.
Harper was the No. 1 overall pick in the draft by the Nationals and turns 22 this week. He and Varner got engaged earlier this year.
