High schooler does insane bat flip after walk-off grand slam
Today we present you with a bat flip for the ages.
Ryan Sepede, a sophomore at Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada, unleashed an all-time bat flip during his team’s win over Desert Oasis High School on Saturday.
Sepede was up with the bases loaded and his team trailing Desert Oasis 5-2 when he delivered a clutch walk-off grand slam. Then he launched his bat soaring in the air like Thor’s hammer. Observe:

Sepede posted another angle of the video on his Twitter page and apologized for the bat flip, saying he was “hyped out of [his] mind.”

No need for the apology, Ryan. Much like Jose Bautista’s case, players are allowed to get that excited in moments like that.
Sepede is considered an emerging prospect in his high school class and is said to be receiving draft buzz and interest from D-I schools. His high school, Bishop Gorman, is the top-ranked school in Nevada according to MaxPreps, and ranked in the top 25 nationwide.
That was probably our favorite bat flip since this one from the Korean League.
