Noah Syndergaard tells fan to pay up after opening day bet
Noah Syndergaard is telling a fan to pay up after losing a bet on opening day.
A fan on Twitter said he would dye his hair blond if Syndergaard struck out at least 10 on opening day.
will dye my ugly dark brown hair blonde if @Noahsyndergaard strikes out at least 10 on opening day

Of course, you know what happened next. Syndergaard struck out 10 over six innings in the New York Mets’ 9-4 win over the Cardinals. He allowed six hits and four earned runs, but the big punch-out numbers are what matter in this case.
Clearly Syndergaard saw the tweet, because he told the fan to pay up.

Syndergaard remains a strong Twitter presence.
What a great start to the season. And not a bad start for the Mets, too.
