Rockies troll Sixers over burner account scandal
The Philadelphia 76ers are prime fodder for roasting right now, and baseball’s Colorado Rockies are leaping at the opportunity.
In perhaps the wildest story of the NBA season, Sixers GM Bryan Colangelo was reported on Tuesday to have allegedly been using secret Twitter accounts to criticize his players and leak other sensitive information about the team in an effort to make himself look better.
The backlash to the news was swift and ruthless, spawning many jokes and memes on social media. For their part, the Rockies posted this funny tweet from their official account in an apparent troll job of the Sixers.
keep up the great work @rockies you are the best twitter account in the world and the best team inthe @mlb n everyone should try to be just like u

The Sixers are obviously dealing with a potentially serious breach of trust and overall conduct here that could cost Colangelo his job. That being said though, the reactionary content produced by the scandal has been top-notch, as we have already seen elsewhere in Major League Baseball as well.
