Seth Maness’ girlfriend upset Cardinals put in Randy Choate
Even St. Louis Cardinals WAGs are complaining about Mike Matheny’s handling of the bullpen during Game 3 of the NLCS on Tuesday.
Cards reliever Seth Maness followed Marco Gonzales and Pat Neshek by throwing a scoreless inning in relief of John Lackey on Tuesday. Maness went 1-2-3 against the Giants in the bottom of the 9th and was lifted for Randy Choate in the 10th. Choate proceeded to put on two runners and blow the game on a throwing error while fielding a sac bunt.

Shortly after Choate blew the game, Maness’ Twitter account retweeted these tweets sent by Andy Cohen:
Maness’ girlfriend Coleman Cox later tweeted at Cohen to say she was the one who retweeted the tweets from Maness’ account. The retweets were later undone and Cox appears to have deactivated her personal Twitter account for the time being.
Coleman was right to be critical of Matheny; she just shouldn’t share her thoughts via her boyfriend’s very public Twitter page. Apparently she’s learning the lesson many other WAGs such as Wes Welker’s wife Anna could tell you.
