Shohei Ohtani continues to give the Los Angeles Angels a huge offensive boost.
Ohtani homered in the bottom of the second inning of the Angels’ game against the Oakland A’s on Friday. He took a 2-0 pitch from Daniel Gossett deep to center field to put the Angels on the board as they were trailing 6-0 prior to his dinger.
The shot measured in at 449 feet.
Ohtani has now homered in three straight games. He began his MLB career with a hit against Oakland in his first at-bat. Then he smacked a 3-run shot in a blowout win over Cleveland, and he delivered a 2-run home run off Corey Kluber in the following game.
Ohtani is most certainly looking like a two-way star.
