Wait, how can Nomo be on the list of fluke no-hitters when he threw 2 of them? Doesn't that automatically negate the term fluke?

What I said was the list a Dodger or Angel had both a World series clinching game and a no hitter. I just think it is not fair to already say a guy is not gonna be a round in 3 years or so down line. YOU dont know and just to say that is wrong. But how many pitchers have long careers. I think all this has to do with a Boston hatred. Which may be justified because those people are generally douche bags

Lackey pitched Game 7 for the Angels and has elevated his game since that point. Only time will tell, but I don't see Lester having a lengthy career. I think people are getting caught up in the emotion because of what he's overcome.

I disagree he wont be around in 10 years. If anything this guy has the ability to overcome anything. Plus not matter what you say, how many guys can say they have thrown a no hitter and pitched a clinching game of a World Series. I cant seem to remember the last Dodger or Angels pitcher to do that

Probably the biggest fluke no-hitter was thrown by one Bobo Holloman of the 1953 St. Louis Browns. It was in his rookie season, which actually turned out to be his only season in the "bigs".

His record for the season (and career) was 3-7. He has to be in any conversation about going from the penthouse to the outhouse!
