The Boston Celtics recently released a preview of their new marketing campaign. The campaign’s message is “I am a Celtic.” The purpose of the campaign is to make the fans feel important — like they’re part of the team. But of course they couldn’t resist a chance to take a shot at Lakers and Heat fans. Here is the video via Red’s Army:

If their intent was to fire up the fans, the plan no doubt worked. The only issue is that now the players have to back them up. For Boston’s sake, I just hope the marketing campaign doesn’t backfire the way this one did.Google+
