The Oklahoma City forward made a truly improbable shot in the third quarter against Minnesota. Durant drove to the hoop and threw up a wild shot that rolled over the glass, onto the top of the backboard, and then dropped down into the basket. The best part of all? Durant was fouled by Luke Ridnour on the play and then converted the free throw.
OKC may have had luck on its side on that shot, but Minnesota came out on top in the game 99-93. Durant led all scorers with 33 points. He entered Thursday’s play third in the league in points per game behind Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony, and he proved on Thursday that he can score in just about every way possible.
