Kobe Bryant wears jacket with an obnoxious fur collar (Picture)
Kobe Bryant strolled up to the Staples Center in style on Christmas Day before the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New York Knicks. In my opinion, Kobe can pretty much wear whatever he wants given the fact that he is one of the greatest players of all time and has won five NBA championships. The folks at PETA would likely disagree with my stance.
According to ESPNLosAngeles.com’s Dave McMenamin, Kobe was looking to channel his inner Frank Lucas. I’m guessing he’s a fan of Denzel Washington’s work in the movie “American Gangster.”
Kobe comes into the locker room wearing a fur collared jacket. “It’s my Frank Lucas.” Jordan Hill picks it up: “Good lawdddd”

The difference between Kobe’s ugly coat and the sweaters Chris Paul and Blake Griffin wore is that the Clippers stars were trying to be funny. Knowing Kobe, I’m sure the fur-collared coat was no laughing matter.
