Kobe Bryant has reportedly been courted by TNT to join the cast of “Inside the NBA,” but the five-time champion is not interested in the position.
TMZ spoke with Kobe as he was leaving a Hublot watch event in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, and he had a very simple response when asked if he is interested in working for TNT.
“No.”
That settles that. It was unclear if TNT wanted Kobe as a playoff analyst for this season or in a full-time capacity next year, but it doesn’t sound like he has interest in any role.
One of the most popular basketball shows on television, “Inside the NBA” features Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley as well as Shaquille O’Neal. Some have been skeptical over whether Kobe would want to work with Shaq for obvious reasons, though Kobe said months ago that he is not interested in broadcasting jobs anyway.
