LeBron James prepares to pay off bet by wearing Cubs uniform Friday
On Friday evening, LeBron James will show up to the game against the Chicago Bulls in rather unusual attire.
As part of a lost bet over the World Series, James will be wearing a full Chicago Cubs uniform, from socks to cap, against close friend and Chicago native Dwyane Wade’s Bulls.
“I’m not wearing cleats,” James clarified Thursday, via Kelley D. Evans of the Undefeated. “I got a basketball game to play. No glove. Just the uniform. I will be in uniform.
“It’s a bet. You have to fulfill your bet. Nothing more to it.”
It’s been a pretty rough period for NBA players making bets. It’s great for the rest of us, though. James in a full baseball uniform will be quite the sight.
