Lou Williams gets a kick out of D’Angelo Russell freeze-out stat
D’Angelo Russell is reportedly not in good standing in the Los Angeles Lakers’ locker room these days, and some have wondered if his teammates will start freezing him out on the court as well. Did it already happen in Monday night’s game?
ESPN’s Tom Haberstroh noted that Lakers guard Lou Williams passed to seven teammates during a blowout loss to the Utah Jazz, and none of them were Russell. Coincidence? Williams addressed the “stat” on Twitter.
Y'all should be ashamed of this type of journalism lol. https://t.co/7wGrpv8Pw7

The Lakers are said to be isolating Russell in the locker room, so it’s not impossible to believe that a 16-win team would punish him during games too. Williams playing it off doesn’t say much.
Russell apologized on Wednesday for the video of Young leaking, and Swaggy P sent a tweet that made it seem like he is not ready to move on just yet. If you have not seen the clip, you can watch it here.
