Metta World Peace tweets pictures of the nasty fluid drained from his knee
Metta World Peace missed less than two weeks of action with the Los Angeles Lakers after undergoing knee surgery, so you can understand why he is not playing at full strength. On Friday, he underwent a minor knee-draining procedure that should help alleviate some of the pain he has been dealing with as a result of a Baker’s cyst.
He just didn’t need to show us the aftermath.
World peace tweeted a photo of a needle filled with the fluid that was taken out of his knee. For those of you who need a better visual, he also shared a closeup:

The Lakers need all the help they can get as they head into Game 3 on Saturday night trailing the San Antonio Spurs 2-0 in their playoff series. Kobe Bryant ain’t walking through that door any time soon, so hopefully World Peace’s orangish fluid-less knee will give LA a boost.
