Rajon Rondo goes after TNT cameraman for filming him after loss (Video)

With the Hawks having beaten the Celtics in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference opening round playoffs on Tuesday night, Boston will has to take a 3-2 series lead back home on Thursday. Ideally, they would have liked to end the series in Atlanta so they could rest some of their ailing players. Had Rajon Rondo played better, they might have been able to do that. Perhaps that explains why he seemed so short-tempered following the game.

As you can see from the video above, Rondo went after a TNT cameraman for filming him after he had apparently asked him to stop.

“How many times I’m gonna tell you, dog?” Rondo barked. “You’re not filming me. I told you quit filming. Do not film me. I’m not doing an interview right now.”

After a 6-for-17 shooting night, Rondo was clearly frustrated. Not only that, but he came up with a huge steal with the Celtics down one and just under 10 seconds remaining but then dribbled into a corner. Rather than allow somebody to get a potential game-winner off, Rondo trapped himself in a corner with several Hawks defenders. I wouldn’t want to be on camera after that, either.
