Jeremy Lin’s emergence has caused many people to lose their minds — hence the term “Linsanity.”
One person is either such a big fan, or such a big collector/investor, that they bid $40,000 to win the uniform and warmups Lin wore for his first Knicks game.
Lin’s first Knicks game was on December 28 against the Warriors and the stat line is a good symbol of his improbable rise to success. The Harvard grad played one minute in a 92-78 loss and went 0-1 from the field. Six weeks later he’s the team’s starter and leading them to seven straight wins. It makes you wonder how the Knicks had this sitting on their bench for so many games without realizing it.
