An amateur boxer died on Wednesday, days after participating in his first career bout.
Kuba Moczyk, a 22-year-old, had his first career fight Saturday at Atlantis Arena in Great Yarmouth, England.
Moczyk lost after suffering a knockout punch in the third round and was taken to the hospital with bleeding in his brain. He was in a coma and on life support until passing away Wednesday night.

His twin sister, Magdalena, created a GoFundMe page to raise money to help move her brother to a “specialist hospital abroad” that had generated over £4,000 for the cause.
“Kuba was looking forward to the big day, he really wanted to be in that ring. He was training long and hard for it.
“He wasn’t going there to hurt anyone.. he wanted to show what he’s capable of and make his team proud,” Magdalena wrote on the page about her brother.
