Former Florida Gators national champion quarterback Chris Leak is being investigated by police for allegedly sexually assaulting a 16-year-old.
Leak was the head football coach at Edgewater High School in Orlando but resigned on Monday following an 0-5 start to the season. The Orlando Sentinel says the alleged incident was not reported until Monday.
According to the Sentinel, an investigative report says that on Sept. 5, Leak came out of the shower wearing only a towel and asked the girl to give him a massage in an athletic trainer office. WFTV says Leak asked the girl for a massage because he said his regular massage therapist wasn’t available.

From the Sentinel:
The girl told detectives that she massaged his back legs and he asked her to massage the front of his legs, the report said.
According to the report, the girl told detectives Leak then pulled her hands up to touch his genitals.
She told police her hand grazed his genitals a few times, according to the report.
Leak reportedly bought the girl some food before dropping her off at home. He also supposedly gave one of the girl’s friends $100 — ostensibly as hush money — after the victim told the friend about the incident.
Leak, who played quarterback for the 2007 Gators national championship team, played in the CFL and AFL after failing to make it in the NFL. He has spent some time coaching since his playing career ended. He is married with two daughters.
