Ohio State star Nick Bosa wrote touching letter to fallen soldier’s family

It has been nearly 10 years since Army Sgt. Nicholas Casey was killed during a mission in Afghanistan, but Ohio State star Nick Bosa wants Casey’s family to know the fallen soldier has not been forgotten.

Bosa, who is entering his junior season with the Buckeyes, recently wrote an inspiring letter to Casey’s family. He spoke on behalf of the team in thanking Casey, who was a native of Canton, Ohio, for his “courageous acts” in making the ultimate sacrifice.

Casey was killed in October 2008 when a suicide bomber detonated explosives as he was preparing to enter a building. He was 22.

Bosa, the younger brother of Los Angeles Chargers defensive lineman Nick Bosa, is expected to be a top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. He has already had two outstanding seasons at Ohio State and should be in for a huge year in 2018. Kudos to the Buckeyes star for the kind gesture.
