USC blind long snapper Jake Olson snaps on extra point
USC put together a very cool moment late in their victory over Western Michigan on Saturday.
After scoring a touchdown to go up 48-31 with 3:13 left in the game, the Trojans had Jake Olson, a blind long snapper, enter the game to snap on the extra point.
As you can see in the video, Olson had a good snap that allowed the Trojans to kick the extra point for a 49-31 lead:
Unforgettable moment for @JakeOlson61, who lost his eyesight at age 12, but snapped USC's final PAT today. #FightOn https://t.co/it445i3Prc

Olsen continued to celebrate after the win. He stood in front of the fans at the Coliseum after the game:

And his guide dog got in on the postgame fun as well:

Olson was pretty thrilled about the experience afterwards.
Jake Olson called it an "awesome feeling" to snap in a game. "I'm trying to say as much as I can, because I just can't believe it yet."

Olson is a redshirt sophomore. He has been involved with the USC program since the age of 12 in 2009, which is when he lost his remaining eye. He previously had lost his left eye when he was 10 months old. This was his first time getting game action.
