James Van Der Beek shares condolences on Billy Bob
Ron Lester, the man behind the lovable character “Billy Bob” in “Varsity Blues,” died on Friday of liver and kidney failure. He was 45.
Lester was best known for his acting job in Varsity Blues, so as fans of the movie, we feel an obligation to bring you the sentiments shared about him by his co-star, James Van Der Beek (aka Mox), on Twitter Saturday:
Sad day… #RonLester was a sensitive soul with a huge heart. Everything you loved about Billy Bob was authentically Ron. #RIP bud.
