Mike Tyson wanted to name his show ‘Boxing, bitches, babies and lawsuits’

Mike Tyson has a successful one-man show going called “Undisputed Truth.” The show originated in Las Vegas, moved to Broadway, and now Tyson will be touring the country over the next several months while performing the show. The funny thing is Tyson says “Undisputed Truth” wasn’t the name he really wanted for the show. Oh no. The title he preferred was something a lot more befitting of his personality.

During an interview with Jim Rome on Showtime, Tyson explained that he wanted the show to be named “Boxing, bitches, babies and lawsuits.”

“Boxing, bitches, babies, and lawsuits [is what I wanted to call it], but my wife and attorney just freaked out, you know, because that’s so politically incorrect. ‘Mike, you’re bashing babies like you had babies without planning them. You wish you didn’t have your babies,'” Tyson says they told him.

“I said, ‘No, I do love my babies. That’s all I did all my life. All I did was fight, fornicate, and go to court.’ That’s all I did! That’s all the hell I did!” Tyson exclaimed.

“I fought, I fornicate, and I went to court. And I got sued and went to jail on certain occasions, you know — one occasion, prison.

“Pretty exciting, but it really sucked on the emotional tip,” Tyson conceded.

Rome asked Tyson what living that life was like, and the former boxer indicated it’s not as great as it sounds.

“I don’t know, Jim. I’m just happy I don’t have that life anymore,” he answered.

So there you have it: the Mike Tyson story. Just remember if you’re thinking of buying tickets to see Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, that the real show you’re going to see is about Mike Tyson’s life of boxing, bitches, babies and lawsuits. But I’m sure you already knew that.
