Fan runs onto field during Cardinals game, somersaults onto home plate (Video)

A fan at the St. Louis Cardinals-Chicago Cubs game Monday took several security guards on a wild chase as he dashed his way through the field, causing a delay at Busch Stadium before finally being apprehended.

We’ve seen tons of fans and streakers run onto the field during games, but few have this kind of breakaway speed:

Unfortunately the man gave up all his momentum with that outstanding somersault onto homeplate, and he wound up circled by security:

Next to this dude somersaulting onto homeplate, the best thing we’ve seen from a fan on the field at a baseball game was the guy who stole the rosin bag. That was awesome.
