Daniel Tosh headlined a comedy show at the Wang Theatre in Boston on Friday night. Naturally, he took the stage wearing an Aaron Hernandez jersey.
Was the wardrobe selection in poor taste? Yes. Is that exactly what Tosh was going for? Of course.
The “Tosh.0” creator is always going for shock value, and wearing the jersey of a former New England Patriots player who was convicted of murder to a show in Boston certainly qualifies.
That said, I’m guessing there will be plenty of people who thought Tosh’s Lane Kiffin parody was hilarious but didn’t laugh at his stunt on Friday night. Don’t expect him to care.
