It is not uncommon for NFL scouts and team officials to want to find out everything they possibly can about a player before they consider drafting him, but sometimes the questions seem totally out of line. On Tuesday, a former NFL defensive lineman shared some of the more absurd ones he was asked.
Austen Lane, who was drafted by the Jaguars and played for four different teams from 2010-2014, says he was asked questions at the NFL Scouting Combine that would leave anyone scratching their head.

While we have no way of confirming that Lane is telling the truth, it wouldn’t exactly surprise us. Remember the completely inappropriate question a Dolphins executive asked Dez Bryant before Bryant entered the NFL? This stuff happens all the time.
