Chad Ochocinco Talks to Randy Moss, Terrell Owens for Support

Chad Ochocinco, Randy Moss, and Terrell Owens all have a few things in common. They’re all guys who used to be extremely talented wide receivers, and they all were problematic as teammates.

Ocho’s the only one of the group left playing in the NFL, and he’s struggled this season only contributing to the Pats in a limited fashion. Luckily Chad says he’s been leaning on the other men for support.

“For me, those guys were my outlets. Not Twitter,” Ochocinco said of Moss and Owens. “To have those two guys in my corner, I talk to them all the time. (Moss) kept me sane for 16 weeks, every week. Every week we talked. T.O, too. We’re close-knit, us so-called diva receivers. Who is going to understand what I’m talking about, or going through, from my standpoint? Not Bill, not Tom. It’s like having my own personal support group. I love those two, man. I didn’t want to burden anyone else in here with that bull. They don’t want to hear that.”

If I were trying to script a story about diva receivers, I couldn’t have thought of a better tale than this. Chad acknowledging that they’re all diva receivers, and saying they’re a close-knit group? I wonder how you gain admittance into the club.

Is there an initiation fee? Or is it based on merit, like you have to insult a certain amount of quarterbacks or blow up a certain amount of locker rooms to gain entrance first? Maybe I should ask Santonio Holmes, because it looks like he’s trying to become a full-fledged member. I’m not making fun, guys, I just want in.
