Watch: Browns fans go after Bud Light Victory Fridge after win
Cleveland Browns fans got to celebrate the team’s first win in 635 days, and Bud Light was along for the ride.
Before the season began, Bud Light installed some “Victory Fridges” at bars in the Cleveland area. The promotion was that the fridges were stocked with Bud Light and would be unlocked after Browns wins.
Well, thanks to a comeback led by Baker Mayfield, the Browns beat the Jets 21-17 on Thursday night, and the Victory Fridges were unlocked for the first time all season.
Here is video of what it looked like with the fans going after the free beer:

And here’s video of the fans at Barley House reacting to the Browns’ win:
“The Browns have shown a lot of heart over the first two games of the season so it was only a matter of time until they would pull off an epic comeback win like this,” Bud Light’s VP of Marketing said in a statement. “Bud Light couldn’t be more thrilled for the Browns and the city of Cleveland as they savor the taste of this long awaited victory. This fan base has stuck beside their team through it all so we’re happy to supply some celebratory beers from the Bud Light Victory Fridges that are now unlocked. We hope Browns fans have a blast celebrating this victory tonight. Dilly Dilly!”
This is one of the best brand promotions in a while, and it paid off in a big way. Now Bud Light will have to get used to unlocking those fridges after seeing what Mayfield can do.
