Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton hosted Cartoon Network’s “Hall of Game Awards” on Monday night. The NFL stars seemed to have a great time doing it, especially when they took the stage surrounded by kids and showed off their singing skills.
When we say “singing skills,” we really mean lack thereof. Newton and Kaepernick each took a turn singing a version of Katy Perry’s “Roar” and inserted their team name into the chorus. While we commend them for doing it for the children, we’re obligated to note that they have to be easily two of the worst singers in professional sports.
Please let that be a once-in-a-lifetime thing.
