DeAngelo Williams jokes about becoming more useful fantasy option

Apparently members of the Carolina Panthers have taken note of the team’s depleted wide receiver group.

Shortly after reports said free agent wide receiver Brandon LaFell agreed to a deal with the New England Patriots, Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams tweeted this:

As we noted, the Panthers have now lost their top three wide receivers from last season. Steve Smith, Ted Ginn Jr. and now LaFell are gone. That leaves tight end Greg Olsen and receiver Marvin McNutt.

Yup, as of now, the offense may be going run-heavy with Williams, Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert.
