Jon Ryan shares photo of broken nose, black eyes

Seattle Seahawks punter Jon Ryan suffered a broken nose on Sunday when he went face-first into the turf while trying to pick up a first down on a botched punt attempt. Less than 24 hours later, the dude looked like he had been in a boxing match.

On Monday, Ryan made a joke about his swollen nose and two black eyes.

Jon Ryan is known for having a great sense of humor, but he probably would have more trouble dealing with the aftermath of a broken nose if the Seahawks lost the game. You can see a video of his brutal face-plant here.

Fortunately, the turnover on downs didn’t cost Seattle the game. An infamous missed chip-shot from Vikings kicker Blair Walsh and a fumble from Adrian Peterson allowed the Seahawks to advance.
