Lamar Jackson leaves game, placed in concussion protocol
The Baltimore Ravens are getting very thin at quarterback.
Lamar Jackson was placed in concussion protocol after completing a 10-play drive during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. After being evaluated in the medical tent, he went down the tunnel and was replaced by third-string quarterback Robert Griffin III for Baltimore’s next drive.

It wasn’t entirely clear what happened to Jackson. He simply came off the field after a drive that ended in a field goal and went to the medical tent before leaving the field.
The Ravens are expected to get Joe Flacco back in practice ahead of a potential return next week, so if Jackson has to miss time, they’ll at least have their regular starter back. Until then, Griffin will have to get them by.
