Tom Brady and Terrell Suggs have quite the rivalry that will be refreshed during Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. The two had an on-field argument last season that resulted in Brady getting the last word. This year’s game is being billed as “Uggs vs. Suggs,” leading Tom to make a crack about his boots.
“Maybe I’ll send [Suggs] a few pairs to soften him up for the game,” Brady joked during an interview on WEEI.
The Ravens linebacker talked about Brady after his team’s win over the Texans.
“He’s a great quarterback,” Suggs said. “When it’s all said and done, it’s going to be Johnny (Unitas), him and Peyton (Manning), end of discussion. We’ve got a full week to prepare for them. He’s definitely one of my favorites. I’m going to enjoy this win, and I’ll talk to you next week about the Patriots.”
Wait a second, so now Brady is one of Suggs’ favorites? We wondered what was going on when Suggs said Big Ben was his favorite quarterback to sack. I guess maybe he and Brady have reconciled. At this rate, a pair of Uggs won’t even be necessary.
