No. 3 overall draft pick Dante Fowler suffered a season-ending torn ACL injury during a practice at Jaguars mini-camp Friday, which is just some awful luck to start his career. Fowler got hurt on a typical play while rushing the passer as he just seemed to plant wrong.
The player he was going up against, left tackle Watts Dantzler, said afterwards that he was getting killed on Twitter over Fowler’s injury.

Feeling badly about the play, Dantzler went to apologize to Fowler, who did not think the lineman was to blame.
“I went to apologize to him and he was like, ‘You’re good, man. It’s just football,'” Dantzler said via ESPN’s Mike Dirocco.
Even though Fowler doesn’t even think Dantzler was to blame, that didn’t stop some Jaguars fans from taking their anger out on the undrafted lineman from Georgia. Take a look at some of the tweets directed at Dantzler:
