Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson are engaged
Paulina Gretzky is now officially off the market.
The daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky got engaged to her boyfriend Dustin Johnson on Saturday night. Johnson, 29, shared a picture on his Instagram account of his girlfriend/fiancee wearing the massive engagement ring:
“She said yes!!!!!” the golfer captioned his photo.
Gretzky, 24, shared the photo at the top of her and Johnson kissing, and wrote “Never Been Happier.”
The two were first rumored to be dating in January when Paulina accompanied Johnson to two tournaments in Hawaii. They went public with their relationship shortly thereafter, and they have been inseparable ever since. The two vacationed in Peanut Island, Fla., together, and partied at a beer fest event in June.
Paulina has been a fixture accompanying Johnson to many of his tournaments. Johnson won his first tournament of the year — the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii — and has posted four other top-10 finishes this season. He finished eighth at the PGA Championship last weekend.
One could see the engagement coming. The two have been extremely open about sharing their love for one another over social media, so popping the question was a natural next step. Paulina certainly seems to have calmed down from her younger, wilder days and has appeared ready to settle down with DJ.
