Vanessa Bryant not only filed for divorce from Kobe Bryant, but she also is living at the family’s house in Newport Beach. Many people have wondered where Kobe is staying in the interim, and Starz Uncut tells us the Lakers star is living at the South Villas of the Pelican Hill resort in Newport Coast — close to his family’s mansion. Starz Uncut’s tipster shared the following picture of Kobe’s Lamborghini parked in front of one of the villas:
Their tipster says they spotted Kobe “in the garage doing his own laundry at the time.”
As hard as it is to believe that Kobe was washing his own clothes, all the other details check out. The picture of the Lamborghini matches the one parked in front of Staples Center recently, and it makes sense that he would be staying nearby his children and Vanessa.
As for Pelican Hill, it’s a luxury resort that has 54 golf holes, is situated by the Pacific Ocean, and has won countless awards. Villas are available for extended stay, and they come with butlers, personal chefs, or concierge upon request. Renting a bungalow there cost at minimum $400 per night, so we imagine Kobe’s paying at least $1,000 a day for his villa.
