MSG Networks reporter Shannon Hogan experienced a very embarrassing moment earlier this week when she forgot the name of a New York Islanders player she was interviewing. On Wednesday night, Anders Lee came prepared.
The 24-year old center, who was the forgotten one for Hogan, wore a stick-on name tag that read “Hello, my name is Anders Lee.” We’re guessing the name tag was responsible for Hogan’s sheepish grin.
As we mentioned before, we’ve seen far more awkward exchanges between players and reporters in the past. Good for Lee for making light of the situation.
