Zenon Konopka frustrated by Justin Bieber fans outside NHLPA meetings
The NHL Players Association is holding its annual meetings in Chicago this week, and we all know how that goes. We’re talking about a league that has had four lockouts since 1992, so people are always curious about how discussions are going when it comes to offseason meetings. However, the NHL is not the biggest story in Chicago at the moment.
Justin Bieber is playing a show at the United Center on Tuesday night. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bieber’s fan base, it consists of teenage girls who cry at the site of him and collect his toenails and things of that nature. According to Minnesota Wild forward Zenon Konopka, the Bieber fanatics were causing a disturbance at the NHLPA meetings on Monday.
@justinbieber I'm a fan of you being Canadian &even ur music but ur killing our NHLPA meetings with ur fan club screaming outside the hotel

Uh oh. The last thing these guys need is a distraction. I think I speak for all NHL fans when I say I can’t wait for Bieber to get the hell out of town. Where’s former NFL running back Eric Dickerson when you need him?
