Did Savannah James’ Instagram tip LeBron’s decision to return to Cleveland weeks ago?

Well before a Cupcake shop in Ohio, Chris Sheridan or Chris Broussard’s infamous sources spilled the beans about LeBron James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, none other than the King’s wife may have leaked the news.

Three weeks ago, Savannah James posted on Instagram about a countdown for coming home to Akron:

I dismissed the posting at the time. “Don’t LeBron and Savannah return to Akron every summer?” I thought.

But maybe there was something more to that post from Savannah than I realized. Looking back at it three weeks ago, maybe that was her way of tipping the decision.

LeBron and Savannah are both from Akron. Being back home seems like a big deal for both of them.

LeBron James’ wife reportedly wants him to sign with Cavs

LeBron-James-endorsement-money-after-championshipWe know how out of hand NBA free agency can get when players like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony are involved, but it may actually be time to consider the legitimately possibility of LeBron returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Amid various reports that the Cavs are pushing to sign LeBron and LeBron is listening, Chris Sheridan of SheridanHoops.com adds that Mrs. LeBron James wants her husband to return to Cleveland.

According to Sheridan, LeBron’s wife Savannah and most of the others within his “inner circle”  believe it is time for him to go back home. And the King just might agree.

Various reports say James will give serious consideration to returning to the Cavs, who he met with Sunday in south Florida. James is traveling today to Las Vegas, and a source who has been briefed on James’ free agency maneuverings told SheridanHoops that James’ inner circle, from his wife, Savannah to his agent, Rich Paul, to his best friends, Maverick Carter and Randy Mims, are unanimous in their belief that James’ best move is a return to the team he played for from 2003-2010.

My source believes there is a 75 percent chance James returns to Cleveland.

Sheridan, who used to cover the NBA for ESPN and worked for the Associated Press for 18 years, said James is “more likely than not” to sign with the Cavs if Pat Riley is unable to present him with a plausible plan for upgrading the Miami Heat in the coming days.

While I always do my best to tune out the noise, sometimes it is just too loud to ignore. All indications are that Cavs owner Dan Gilbert met with LeBron in South Florida on Sunday. The two may have used the meeting to patch up their differences. After all, the Cavs removed their open letter to LeBron from the team’s official website on Monday after it had been up for four years.

It’s hard to not get wrapped up in the rumors and gossip. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, who reported that LeBron’s agent is urging the Cavs to clear cap space, says the Heat are still confident they’ll keep LeBron despite what his wife or agent want. Credible sources like Sheridan, Wojnarowski and Chris Broussard all seem like they’re leaning toward James returning to Cleveland. When should we believe them?

LeBron James and wife Savannah expecting third child – first girl

LeBron James Savannah BrinsonLooks like the rumors about Savannah James being pregnant are true.

Back in March, we posted a report saying that Savannah was expecting the couple’s third child and first girl. The word at the time was that Savannah was 15 weeks along in the pregnancy, which would put her at just shy of 30 weeks now. Heat President Pat Riley confirmed the news at a meeting with the media Thursday.

“Savannah now is going to have a little baby girl to join her in the fight against the two boys and LeBron, which she needs,” he said via the AP.

Sounds like the baby girl will likely be born in August, which would fall in between the birthdays of their two sons. LeBron Jr. (aka Bronny) was born Oct. 6, 2004, and Bryce was born June 14, 2007.

I wonder how they’re going to afford the child with all the rising costs and expenses that go along with having a kid. Maybe LeBron will find a way to provide.

LeBron James’ wife Savannah reportedly pregnant with couple’s third child

LeBron James’ wife Savannah is pregnant with the couple’s third child, according to multiple reports.

Rumors of the pregnancy have been swirling for the past month, and they were supposedly confirmed this week.

The first report saying that Savannah is pregnant came in February from MediaTakeOut, which also said the two were expecting a girl.

On Thursday, The YBF confirmed the report and said Savannah was about 15 weeks along in the pregnancy. They also say most of the other Miami Heat wives and girlfriends already know about the pregnancy.

Some pictures have been circulating which purportedly show Savannah with a baby bump, but those are often sketchy. We’ll just say it’s a little too early for us to tell based on pictures.

LeBron and Savannah have been dating since high school and got married last September. They have two sons together — LeBron James Jr. (aka Bronny), 9, and Bryce Maximus, 6.

LeBron and wife Savannah James show off wedding rings

LeBron James and his new bride, the former miss Savannah Brinson, have kept most of the details and photos from their wedding private. The high school sweethearts got married over the weekend at the Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego. On Wednesday, LeBron shared a photo of the couple showing off their rings and smooching on Instagram.

While there are not many details about the wedding floating around, we do know that it was a three-day bash and that Dwyane Wade and his girlfriend got a flat tire on the way there. We also know that LeBron and the Mrs. are currently on their honeymoon in Italy. They checked out the Colosseum on Thursday.

Again, it’s great to be the King. Personally, I’d prefer a tropical destination for my honeymoon. Then again, LeBron probably saves the topical getaways for, you know, anyway weekend he feels like going.

LeBron James’ wedding will reportedly be a three-day bash

LeBron-James-Savannah-BrinsonLeBron James is set to marry high school sweetheart Savannah Brinson this weekend. Since LeBron is no ordinary person, this will be no ordinary wedding.

According to the NY Post’s Page Six, LeBron and Savannah’s top-secret wedding is more of a three-day event than your typical ceremony and reception. The wedding is expected to be held at Grand Del Mar or Hotel Del Coronado and will include a guest list in the hundreds. Unlike Michael Jordan, LeBron reportedly does not want thousands of guests at his big day.

“He cut the list down because he didn’t want to have 1,000 people at the wedding,” a source reportedly told Page Six.

As the invitations that went on in July indicated, the festivities will begin with a “welcome barbecue” on Friday. The wedding will take place on Saturday afternoon, followed by cocktails and a reception that I’m sure will include some sort of famous DJ or live band. On Sunday, guests will be treated to a “farewell brunch” before they call it a weekend.

In short, it sounds like LeBron and Savannah’s wedding will be more of a vacation for their guests than anything. The entire event has been organized by celebrity wedding planner Preston Bailey, who has worked with people like Sean Parker and put together weddings that cost upwards of $10 million. I’m sure it will be a weekend to remember.

LeBron James, Savannah Brinson send out top secret wedding invitations

LeBron-James-wedding-invitation

LeBron James and Savannah Brinson are getting married at some point during the weekend of Sept. 13, but don’t expect to know any of the details if you are not on the guest list. In fact, even the invitations that were recently sent out provide little information. They’re more like instructions.

TMZ was able to get its hands on one of the invites, photos of which can be seen here. The invitations only list a “Welcome Barbecue” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 and then a “Farewell Brunch” at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 15. There is no mention of a ceremony, reception or any address associated with any of the proceedings.

However, there is a phone number. The assumption is that the magic phone number is the key to all of the details, as guests are instructed to dial it by Aug. 1 so that someone can get back to them with more information.

If this all sounds familiar, that’s probably because Michael Jordan went through similar steps before he got married a couple of months ago. MJ and his now-wife Yvette Prieto even asked their guests to take a vow of silence and had caterers and other employees sign documents saying they would not disclose any information about the wedding. This is just how superstars have to get their nuptials on in the internet and smart phone era.
