Kevin Durant: The Game is lying about $20k bet (Video)

Kevin Durant says The Game is lying about him losing a $20,000 bet over a basketball shot the rapper made over the weekend.

Kevin Durant ThunderThe Game posted a video on Instagram showing him swishing an NBA-distance 3-pointer on a tennis court. In his caption for the picture, The Game said that he won a bet with Durant by making the shot and that KD now has to donate $20,000 to the rapper’s AAU team, Frogg All-Stars. The other term of the bet is that KD has to play on The Game’s Drew League basketball team, La Familia. The Drew League is a legendary Los Angeles pro-am league where several notable current and former players ball.

But the Slim Reaper says that’s all B.S.

TMZ caught up with Durant after a recent workout he had and the Oklahoma City Thunder baller denied that he lost a wager to The Game, even saying that The Game was lying.

Of course, whoever recorded that video for TMZ couldn’t have had more inconsiderate timing, as they caught Durant when he was out of breath and totally gassed. Can’t you at least let the guy recover before you hound him?

Khloe Kardashian rebounding from Lamar Odom with The Game?

Khloe Kardashian The Game

The rumors of Khloe Kardashian hooking up with rapper The Game will not go away despite their denials.

Last week a video came out showing Khloe twerking on The Game at a club in Hollywood. Then on Sunday Bossip published pictures of Khloe and The Game at a charity bowling event at Pinz in Studio City, Calif.

Back in October, after more pictures of them together were published, The Game denied being romantic with Khloe.

“Khloe is my friend. She is like a sister. We have never [slept together] and will never be sleeping together,” The Game told US Weekly.

He also told US Weekly that he considers Lamar Odom to be his homie. Maybe The Game and Odom are (were?) homies, but I’m not buying the denial. Sisters don’t twerk on their brothers at clubs, simple as that. And you don’t hold hands the way they appear to be doing in that photo.

The Game says he did not punch Brandon Jennings in the face

For those of you who were unaware, there is a rumor floating around that Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jennings was punched in the face by rapper The Game at a club in Los Angeles over the weekend. The Game, who is a regular at Lure nightclub’s “Toxic” day party, supposedly got into it with Jennings over microphone time.

The Game insists that is not the way it went down. During an interview with “The Big Tigger Show” on V-103 in Atlanta, The Game said Jennings did indeed get punched but that it was someone else who threw the swing. Black Sports Online captured the audio of Game’s denial.

“I didn’t punch that dude in the face, man,” The Game said. “I was right there. Some words were exchanged and he got into it with somebody and it took off, man. I was right there. I seen it, but it wasn’t me.”

On Tuesday night, Jennings tweeted that he was sucker punched but said it wasn’t by The Game. Of course, we don’t know what to believe. The Pistons are probably going to advise Jennings not to comment on the incident, so I doubt we will be hearing much from him. The bottom line is it sounds like he definitely got into a fight at the club, we just don’t know who actually threw swings. That information is probably irrelevant to the Pistons, who just want Jennings to stay out of trouble.

Brandon Jennings reportedly got punched in face by rapper The Game

Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings was reportedly involved in a fight with a famous rapper in Los Angeles over the weekend. According to a report from HipHollywood.com, Jennings was socked in the face by The Game

Believe it or not, the fight is said to have broke out over microphone time. Sources told HipHollywood.com that Jennings and The Game were allegedly hanging out at Lure nightclub’s popular day party “Toxic” over the weekend, which is an event that The Game supposedly frequents. Jennings happened to be there celebrating his birthday party. Here’s what they say went down:

Jennings was at Lure hosting his birthday party with friends, which didn’t sit well with the Compton rapper who frequents the club. ‘Game feels like Toxic is his, and he didn’t like that Jennings was hogging the microphone. He felt like he was being disrespected,’ one person who witnessed the altercation tells us. ‘Game tried to have words with him, and it just escalated quickly and Game hit Brandon in the mouth,’ another source says.”

Security reportedly broke up the altercation and allowed both parties to remain at the club, but the party was shut down after Jennings and his crew got into it again with The Game and his crew. We know that Jennings is a big supporter of Drake and has hung out with Drake’s OVO crew, so maybe there’s some friction over the opposing rap groups. Also, Jennings and The Game played on opposing teams in the LA-based Drew League during the summer, so they might have some beef from that league, too.

We have seen plenty of examples of Jennings having an attitude problem on the court, so this isn’t exactly a shock. What is kind of surprising is the thought of two grown men getting physical over who is allowed to talk into a microphone. Can’t we all just get along?

UPDATE: The Game has denied punching Jennings, but does that mean Jennings didn’t get punched?
