The 2010 World Cup has turned out to be an absolute disaster for the French team. They had a scoreless draw with Uruguay in their first game and then they were shutout 2-0 by Mexico in their second game. At halftime of the Mexico game, French coach …
We’ve ripped on the Pirates a number of times for a number of reasons. A few years ago their fans had a walkout to protest the ineptitude in the organization. Between not having a winning season since 1992 and trading away all their talented …
That’s UCLA pitcher Trevor Bauer below. His hat is worn down and gray. To the right is the rest of UCLA’s team. All their hats are blue as they’re supposed to be. Bauer struck out 11 Gators as UCLA beat Florida 11-3 in their first …
Someone in the Marlins marketing department had the bright idea of giving away 15,000 vuvuzela-like horns to fans in attendance for Saturday’s game against the Rays. You have to love the way the Marlins pitched it, saying the horns were given …
Along with Spain and France, England has been one of the biggest disappointments at the 2010 World Cup. In addition to tying the U.S. 1-1 last weekend, the Brits wound up in a scoreless draw with Algeria on Friday. The two draws have England tied …

I guess when you have a $50 million P.R. budget to make things right for one of the biggest offshore oil spills the world has seen, you can afford a 60 second commercial during the NBA Finals on ABC. Whether or not BP was running the commercial to …
On Sunday evening UCLA beat Cal State Fullerton to win their Super Regional and clinch a berth into the College World Series for the first time since 1997. I noted that the team had a six-man high pileup in their celebration after winning, prompting …
Realizing how valuable it is to have a quality NBA team in town, the city of Miami and the Heat organization is bringing out all the stops to try and ensure the team remains playoff-quality. At first it was the Heat organization creating a website …
I guess that video and picture of the matador who was gored with the bull’s horns coming out of his chin and mouth must have had a pretty widespread effect on the bullfighting community at-large. How else do you explain Christian Hernandez …
