Aroldis Chapman disliked how Joe Maddon used him in postseason
Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon was widely criticized for how he used Aroldis Chapman during the postseason, and it turns out that Chapman himself agreed with some of it.
Speaking to the New York media after his deal with the Yankees became official, Chapman said that, at times, he disagreed with Maddon’s usage of him during the playoffs.

It’s kind of startling to see a player so openly admit this. It doesn’t read very viciously or anything like that, and at the end of the day, he did get a World Series out of it. Plus, it’s not like there isn’t any fair criticism in here. Maddon had to do a lot of explaining for his usage of Chapman, particularly in the last two games of the World Series.
