Seattle Mariners slugger Cal Raleigh helped his team win Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday night by blasting a solo home run, and he did it right in front of a fan who disrespected him with a wild T-shirt.
Raleigh hit a two-out home run in the top of the sixth inning of the Mariners’ 3-1 win at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario. A fan who was seated behind home plate for the game wore a shirt that featured a certain adult object and Raleigh’s No. 29. The fan was clearly seen on the broadcast standing up just before Raleigh blasted his solo shot to tie the game at 1-1.
The guy quickly crossed his arms and looked disappointed.
BIG DUMPER, WE LOVE YOU! #SeizeTheMoment pic.twitter.com/2ZeQ96an3y

The design on the shirt was an obvious reference to Raleigh’s nickname, which is “Big Dumper.” The fan thought he had a pretty clever idea, but Raleigh got the last laugh.
Raleigh hit 60 home runs during the regular season and now has two in the playoffs. His first postseason home run of 2025 ended up with a fan who was wearing a much different shirt from the one we saw in Game 1 of the ALCS.
