Watch: Bryce Harper stuck it to heckling Giants fans
Bryce Harper stuck it to some San Francisco Giants fans during his Philadelphia Phillies’ 9-6 win at Oracle Park on Friday night.
Harper went 2-for-4 with a walk and 4 RBIs in the game. He clubbed a solo homer in the fifth and a 3-run home run in the seventh to propel his team to victory. The homers were probably sweeter than usual due to some back-and-forth with Giants fans.
After touching home plate following his first home run, he shushed the crowd.

Harper has pulled the same move in the past — he did it three years ago with the Nats.
The story gets better.
As Harper was at the plate for the second home run, a Giants fan chanted “overrated.” Harper heard it and pointed at the fan after homering. It was beautiful:

Why were Giants fans giving Harper such a hard time? Probably because the outfielder was in contract talks with San Francisco but chose to sign with the Phillies. They likely wish he were clubbing dingers for them instead.
