
The Washington Capitals were among the many who celebrated the Washington Nationals winning this year’s World Series.
With a victory in Game 7 over the Houston Astros, the Nationals captured their first World Series championship in franchise history. There were more than 13,000 fans who showed up at Nationals Park that were able to celebrate after the final out was recorded.
Washington’s NHL team was also in a joyous mood after the Nationals’ win. Take a look:

It’s been an impressive recent run for Washington D.C. sports teams. The Capitals won the Stanley Cup for the first time in its franchise history last year. Earlier this month the Washington Mystics won its first WNBA title. And now, the Nationals join the club.
