Over 13,000 Nationals fans attend Game 7 watch party at Nationals Park
Washington Nationals fans showed up in less-than-ideal weather conditions for a Game 7 watch party at Nationals Park.
While Game 7 was being played at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Nationals fans showed up by the thousands to the team’s home stadium to watch the deciding game of this year’s World Series. Rain didn’t keep more than 13,000 fans from attending, according to the ball club.

It may look like there are fewer people at Nats Park tonight, but there are considerably more. The 200 level is packed with fans trying to stay dry. (@wusa9) #WorldSeries #STAYINTHEFIGHT pic.twitter.com/rk7NrsiYGI

If the Nationals go on to win the World Series, there will surely be many more than that who will claim to have been there to watch the franchise’s first championship.
